Third pass is cavity — where thermal or meter readings suggest water inside a wall or floor cavity, we cut inspection ports (typically 1-inch holes at strategic locations) and either scope with a borescope camera or extend a Delmhorst probe directly into the cavity for a reading. This is destructive but minimally so, and it’s the difference between assuming a cavity is wet and knowing it.
